Position Summary:
The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role within the Finance & Accounting team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and a solid understanding of operational accounting and finance functions. As the organization expands, this position will present opportunities to take ownership of Finance and Accounting processes and collaborate strategically with senior leadership to foster business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute and verify the company's complete accounting cycle, including month-end closing and year-end audit/tax submissions.
  • Prepare account reconciliations utilizing the available tools in NetSuite.
  • Oversee the Company's monthly customer billing process to ensure accurate calculations and clear documentation in supporting schedules.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers and vendors.
  • Identify and implement enhancements to the Company's existing accounting practices.
  • Assist in coordinating annual audit documentation and meetings with external auditors.
  • Design, prepare, and analyze financial reports as requested by management.
  • Provide insights into accounting and financial inquiries by researching and interpreting data.
  • Assess various business transactions to determine appropriate accounting treatment and propose alternative strategies for structuring transactions, if necessary.
  • Perform additional financial functions, including processing expense reports, daily cash reporting, and other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of accounting experience; public accounting experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with U.S. GAAP and corporate finance policies and procedures.
  • Experience with NetSuite is highly preferred.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a high degree of ethics and integrity.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with proactive communication skills and the ability to exercise independent judgment.
  • Adaptable and capable of thriving in the dynamic environment of a high-growth company.
