Outpatient Weekend Group Therapist Position

We are seeking a skilled Outpatient Weekend Group Therapist to join our team at Streamwood Behavioral Healthcare System (SBHS), a leading provider of mental health treatment in the Chicagoland community.
Key Responsibilities- Lead group therapy sessions on Saturdays during the day in conjunction with other group therapy facilitators.
- Provide basic consultation, teaching, and specialized clinical social services for consumers/families receiving care.
- Develop, plan, and facilitate groups, including individual sessions as needed.
- Assist clients in meeting their bio-psycho-social needs through therapeutic treatment skills.
- A Master's Degree in a related mental health field is required.
- A minimum of two (2) years experience in behavioral health with experience in individual, family, and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills is preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment skills and experience focused on the child/adolescent population is preferred.
- DHS/DCFS background/knowledge is preferred.
