Job Summary:

The Clinical Nurse at Albany Medical Center is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in the Hematology/Oncology department. This includes assessing, coordinating, planning, directing, implementing, and managing the needs of assigned patients throughout their episode of care with a focus on progress toward discharge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and coordinate patient care to ensure competent and compassionate care is uniformly provided to customers.
  • Deliver and coordinate patient care provided by the caregiving team.
  • Manage transitions within the acute care stay.
  • Ensure that information is adequately protected from unauthorized access and modification.
