Endocrinologist Physician

Henry Ford Health is seeking a skilled Endocrinologist to join our team. As an Endocrinologist, you will practice general endocrinology with the ability to teach and participate in clinical research.
Practice Details- The clinic receives a wide variety of cases, providing a well-rounded and diverse practice.
- The practice is comprised of about 40% diabetes and the rest is general endocrine, including thyroid.
- Advanced practice providers handle diabetes follow-ups.
- We have a dietitian on-site at Henry Ford New Center One and Henry Ford Columbus.
- Physicians are assigned a primary location and may be asked to split time to cover additional locations as needed.
- Practice at 4 locations: HF Columbus, HF Bloomfield, HF Plymouth, and HF New Center One.
- Schedule includes five days per week working at any assigned location.
- The physician will work 16-18 days of clinic per month, seeing 16-17 patients per day.
- Call is evenly distributed amongst staff physicians, and overnight calls are first taken by fellows.
- Providers will be on call a week at a time, with phone calls taken by fellows first and routed to physicians when needed.
- The physician will round at Henry Ford Hospital approximately 9-10 weeks a year and at HF West Bloomfield Hospital 3-4 times per year.
- Must have completed an ACGME/AOA approved Internal Medicine residency program.
- Must have completed or currently completing an ACGME/AOA approved Endocrinology fellowship program.
