We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at NHC HomeCare Low Country.

Job Summary:

The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for supervising and participating in the application of therapeutic techniques for the rehabilitation of patients with speech and language disorders, hearing disorders, and oral myofunctional disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates and develops treatment plans for patients with speech and language disorders, hearing disorders, and oral myofunctional disorders.
  • Provides therapy sessions to patients, including individual and group sessions.
  • Supervises and participates in the application of therapeutic techniques, including speech and language therapy, hearing therapy, and oral myofunctional therapy.
  • Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  • Participates in in-service training programs for HomeCare personnel.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree from an approved curriculum in Speech Pathology or its equivalent.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SP) from the American Speech and Hearing Association or eligibility for a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
  • Licensed in the state or states in which he/she will work.
