Position Overview

Salary: $25+ based on experience

Mico Cooling Corp. is a dedicated service provider associated with Local 638, seeking a skilled technician with a solid background in the field. The ideal candidate will possess 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in servicing and repairing commercial refrigeration systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Address service requests across the five boroughs of NYC.
  • Diagnose and fix issues with commercial refrigeration systems.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients and the office regarding repair progress.
  • Complete service documentation in accordance with company protocols.
  • Ensure the company vehicle is well-maintained and organized.
  • Perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, standing, and lifting/carrying items up to 50 lbs., or utilizing assistance for heavier loads.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • EPA Certification.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
  • Ability to accurately complete necessary paperwork in a timely manner.
  • Possession of standard hand tools required for the industry.
  • Successful completion of a criminal background check and driver's license verification.
