We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Telemetry unit at The University of Chicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with physicians to assess, design, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient plans of care.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with physicians to assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs
- Delegate tasks to other care team members as needed to ensure efficient and effective patient care
- Monitor patient outcomes and quality of care, making adjustments as necessary to ensure optimal patient satisfaction and outcomes
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Current RN licensure in the State of Illinois or valid temporary permit to practice nursing in the State of Illinois
- Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Acute care or related experience providing nursing care to patients within the last five years
