Key Responsibilities- Collect blood samples from patients of all ages using various phlebotomy techniques.
- Perform phlebotomy in a busy hospital setting, adhering to strict safety protocols and guidelines.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient sample collection.
- Maintain accurate records of sample collection and patient information.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
- Prior phlebotomy experience in a hospital setting is required.
- Entry-level phlebotomists with appropriate training and clinical externship will also be considered.
- National phlebotomy certification is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work rotating weekends and varying weekdays, with a schedule made a month in advance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Competitive hourly rate of $28.00 based on experience.
