Job Description:

This position involves performing maintenance duties for ponds, lakes, landscaping, and fountains throughout San Diego County. The successful candidate will have a strong background in water feature maintenance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the health and appearance of water features, including cleaning, filter maintenance, and chemical balancing.
  • Perform general labor tasks, such as lifting, carrying, and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
  • Inspect and repair equipment, tools, and other assets related to water feature maintenance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity in water feature maintenance.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in horticulture, landscape design, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in pond, lake, or fountain maintenance.
  • Current driver's license and ability to travel to various locations within San Diego County.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
