Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Scribe to join our team at Orlin & Cohen Medical Specialist Group. As a Clinical Scribe, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient medical records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accompany physicians during patient examinations to transcribe the encounter into the patient's medical record.
  • Ensure medical records are accurate, complete, and meet medical coding requirements.
  • Record relevant details of physician-patient interactions, including symptoms, medical history, medications, and test results.
  • Document physician physical examinations, including measurements, vital signs, and observations.
  • Enter physician diagnoses and follow-up instructions.
  • Maintain confidentiality and privacy during interactions with patients and healthcare teams.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one year of recent experience working in a medical facility or related field.
  • Orthopedic experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology required.
  • Ability to type 80 wpm required.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Willingness to travel to various locations within the work week.
