About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Nursing Care Specialist to join our team in Olympia, Washington. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you'll be responsible for providing specialized care to patients transitioning from intensive care to general medical-surgical units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and respiratory status in the step-down unit.
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and families on post-intensive care recovery, medication management, and self-care techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members to facilitate patient progress and optimize outcomes in the step-down unit.

Requirements:

  • Current RN license
  • BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
  • Two years of recent Step Down experience
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills
