We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at Carlisle Staffing Consultants Corp. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair plant equipment, including determining when to replace or repair parts and equipment.
- Collaborate with departmental supervisors, operations manager, scheduling, and equipment manufacturers to optimize repair schedules and production.
- Conduct regular visual inspections of buildings, grounds, facilities, equipment, and projects to identify potential issues.
- Develop and implement solutions to recurring facilities-oriented failures, working closely with the Maintenance Manager.
- Manage inventory of supplies and materials necessary for maintenance operations.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure timely resolution of issues and maintenance tasks.
- Comply with EPA and OSHA regulations, and requisition equipment and supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to the company's 7S processes and quality improvement initiatives.
- Support the department in maintaining equipment according to Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) guidelines.
- Adhere to all accepted safe work practices and standards.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Industrial Maintenance.
- Excellent reading, language, and math skills at a 12th-grade level or above.
- Able to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Able to read and write English.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Able to plan, anticipate, and address potential problems before they occur.
- Able to handle stressful situations.
- Able to work in noisy and harsh conditions.
- Strong initiative, adaptability, and ability to work well in a team environment under pressure.
- Willingness to work long and irregular hours, including weekends.
- High school diploma with experience in facilities maintenance.
- Must be physically able to access all equipment.
- Must be able to stand for 8 to 10 hours.
- Must be able to climb ladders and catwalks.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of pounds.
- Must be able to work on all types of plant equipment.
- Must be able to operate forklifts and man-lifts.
- Experience with basic rigging using chain falls, hoists, and slings.
- Technical skills and knowledge of general industrial maintenance, including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fabrication, machining, carpentry, plumbing, air conditioning, and heating.
Available shifts on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Compensation is $35.00/hour.
