Seasonal Speech Language Pathologist

Position Type:
Summer Extended School Year Opportunities/Summer Speech Language Pathologist

Location:
Countywide

Chester County Intermediate Unit is seeking qualified candidates for temporary Summer Speech Language Pathologist roles within the Division of Student Services. These positions are specifically designed for the summer program and are not permanent.


Available Locations:
Various school districts within the county.

Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a valid PDE certification as a Speech & Language Therapist. A Master's Degree with a Certificate of Clinical Competence is preferred; however, candidates currently enrolled in a Master's degree program in Communicative Disorders may also be considered. Additionally, current police, child abuse, and FBI Fingerprint clearances are mandatory. Clearance as an MA provider by the Commonwealth of PA and federal government will be processed upon hiring.

Responsibilities:


Deliver speech and language services to students enrolled in Extended School Year programs. Responsibilities may include working with students who have complex needs and may require travel between locations.


Working Hours:

  • Flexible and part-time opportunities available
*Hours may vary based on location

Compensation:
$60.00/hour
