Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Intern Grad to join our team at Walgreens. As a Pharmacy Intern Grad, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, counseling patients on medication usage, and ensuring the proper compounding and dispensation of medications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide pharmacy consulting services to customers, including counseling on medication usage and potential interactions.
  • Ensure the proper compounding, dispensation, review, and verification of prescribed medications.
  • Support the efficient workflow of the pharmacy and assist the pharmacy manager in identifying ways to optimize pharmacy financials and inventory management.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers and healthcare providers to promote the pharmacy business and enhance growth opportunities.
Requirements
  • Willingness to obtain a Doctor of Pharmacy (Ph.D.) degree from an accredited educational institution prior to the start date in position.
  • Willingness to obtain pharmacist licensure from the respective Board of Pharmacy in the states within the district within 90 days of hire per district guidelines.
  • Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
  • Certified Immunizer or willingness to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
