Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrophysiology Technologist to join our team at Bon Secours Mercy Health. As an Electrophysiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in performing specialized procedures in the invasive cardiovascular setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and support image acquisition, image processing, physiologic and/or hemodynamic data acquisition, and simple electrophysiology (EP) or 3D mapping during invasive procedures.
  • Assist nurses with patient management and provide appropriate care to patients consistent with level of training.
  • Assist physician operator and invasive team before, during, and after invasive procedures.
  • Maintain the laboratory and/or operating room and equipment, manage supplies first in, first out (FIFO), and support accurate billing for procedures performed.
Requirements
  • BLS (Basic Life Support), American Heart Association (required)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), American Heart Association (preferred)
  • RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) (preferred)
  • RCES (Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist) (preferred)
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) (preferred)
  • Associates Degree in a Health Sciences or related field (preferred)
  • One of the following Accredited Certifications: CVT (Cardiovascular Technician Certification) (preferred), EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) (preferred), Paramedic (preferred), ARRT R, (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, Radiography) (preferred), CRT (Certified Respiratory Therapist) (preferred)
  • Clinical patient care experience (required)
  • 1 year of experience or on-the-job training in electrophysiology, aseptic techniques, and cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures (preferred)
