Key Responsibilities:

  • Advocate for the needs of youth and their families, ensuring adherence to individualized treatment plans.
  • Deliver direct services and maintain constant supervision of clients as per their treatment requirements.
  • Engage one-on-one with clients to address personal, social, and emotional challenges impacting their educational and social development.
  • Participate in various activities and services, ready to assist during transitions and behavioral incidents.
  • Document services accurately whenever clients and families are engaged.
  • Implement approved safety measures when necessary to ensure the well-being of clients and others.
  • Support parents in understanding and addressing their child's behavioral needs while enhancing their knowledge of community resources.
  • Administer medication as required, ensuring proper documentation and care.
  • Assist in meal preparation and maintain hygiene standards.
  • Comply with all transportation policies and procedures.
  • Engage in staff meetings and contribute to team discussions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma is mandatory; further education is advantageous.
  • CPI certification in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training is required and will be provided upon hiring.
  • All necessary training specific to the program will be provided upon hiring.
  • Experience working with youth or those with emotional and behavioral challenges is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance are essential.
