Job Title: Mental Health Therapist/Counselor

New Horizon Community Care (NHCC) is a non-profit agency that specializes in residential and outpatient behavioral health services. We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Therapist/Counselor to join our clinical department at our West Valley locations.

Job Summary:

The Mental Health Therapist/Counselor will provide therapy and counseling services to clients experiencing mental health issues, communication challenges, or family conflict. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in human services, professional experience, and licensure through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide therapy and counseling services to clients
  • Conduct clinical assessments and create treatment plans
  • Manage client accountability and participate in CFTs
  • Inform Clinical Director/Administrator of client or staff concerns
  • Ensure clients receive appropriate care in accordance with treatment plans
  • Maintain confidentiality of client records and protect client rights
  • Complete billing and ensure compliance with NHCC requirements
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in human services
  • Professional experience and licensure through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
