We are excited to welcome a skilled Nurse Practitioner to our Pediatric Hospitalist Department at Brenner Children's Hospital. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic group of healthcare professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
**Your Role:**
You will play a pivotal role in providing direct patient care to pediatric patients in the inpatient setting, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assess new admissions during trainee teaching times, focusing on resident sign-out and didactic sessions.
- Facilitate early and complex discharges, providing crucial patient and family education.
- Support the newly developed PHM Trauma Consult Service, performing initial consultations on trauma patients and providing co-management services to the pediatric surgery/trauma service for complex cases.
