Job Title: Construction Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team at ProSet Construction Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct construction teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects meet design and quality standards.
  • Conduct site inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement construction schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks, and implement contingency plans as needed.
  • Provide training and guidance to construction staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements:
  • 4-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent on large, complex building projects.
  • Working knowledge of all crafts and current means and methods.
  • 2 years of high-end resort construction experience.
  • Ability to read and understand plans and specifications for all trades.
  • Knowledge of Cal/OSHA regulations and ability to enforce Cal/OSHA and company safety on site.
  • Extensive knowledge of CPM Scheduling and ability to create accurate baseline CPM schedules and updates.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and ProCore Project Management software.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and ability to pass testing requirements for licensing in the jurisdiction of each project.
  • Ability to assist in moving, lifting, carrying, storing, or transporting materials and equipment (must be able to lift at least 80-pound items).
  • Ability to inspect and supervise all areas of the project/job in all types of weather.
