We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our Food Services Team at Aramark. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of food items according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
Key Responsibilities- Bake and prepare food items such as bread, pastries, and desserts
- Set up workstation with all necessary ingredients and equipment
- Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, and chopping
- Operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, mixers, and utensils
- Safely use a variety of utensils, including knives
- Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, and coworkers
- Adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation
- Ensure security of company assets
- Previous experience as a baker or in a related role is preferred
- Proven knowledge of baking methods, standards, and food safety regulations, including proper food handling, sanitation, and storage
- Required to obtain food safety certification(s)
- Demonstrates basic math and counting skills
- Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
This role may have physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
