Childcare Professionals

• Assist in planning and implementing educational activities that promote learning and development in Language/Literacy, Math, Science, Social Studies, Creative Arts, and Physical Education.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the needs of each child are met, including developing individual relationships through responsive, attentive, consistent, comforting, supportive, and culturally sensitive care.
• Implement family style meals, engage children in conversation during meal times, and maintain open communication with parents as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, adhering to program goals and philosophy.
• Document all necessary records and documentation to ensure a safe environment in each classroom.
• Participate in coverage for other staff during breaks and planning time, assist with daily tasks such as cleaning toys and equipment, and contribute to a safe and healthy environment.
