We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Oconto Health and Rehabilitation Center in Oconto, WI.

Job Summary

The Physical Therapy Assistant will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality physical therapy services to residents. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy services to residents, including screenings, evaluations, and treatment plans.
  • Assist the Physical Therapist in identifying resident needs and developing treatment plans.
  • Conduct individual and group treatment sessions, including exercises, modalities, and transfers.
  • Monitor resident progress and report to the Physical Therapist as needed.
  • Assist with resident education and training on the use of equipment and techniques.
  • Participate in quality assurance programs and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
