About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Professional to join our Penetration Testing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities in our systems and applications.
Job Summary
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with a focus on penetration testing and vulnerability assessment. You will work closely with our development teams to identify and address security weaknesses, and contribute to the development of tools and processes to improve our security posture.
Responsibilities
- Lead testing efforts on Fidelity's web and mobile applications and supporting systems
- Replicate techniques and tools used by malicious attackers to model potential external threats
- Analyze test results, draw conclusions, and develop targeted exploit examples
- Consult with operations and software development teams to ensure potential weaknesses are addressed
- Contribute to the research and development of tools to assist in the vulnerability discovery process
- Collaborate with other teams within Enterprise Cybersecurity to improve overall security
- Stay current on security best practices and vulnerabilities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of IT experience
- Preferred 3+ years of hands-on web application penetration testing/ethical hacking experience
- Preferred industry security certifications (OSCP, GWAPT, GXPN, GPEN, LPT, CEH, CISSP)
- Ability to demonstrate manual testing experience, including OWASP Top 10
- Intermediate knowledge of application security mechanisms, such as authentication and authorization techniques
- Demonstrated experience with common penetration testing and vulnerability assessment tools
- Intermediate knowledge of programming/scripting languages (C, C#, Python, Objective C, Java, Javascript, SQL)
- Intermediate knowledge of Web Services technologies (XML, JSON, SOAP, REST, AJAX)
- Experience with Enterprise Java or .NET web application frameworks
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and presentation skills
Compensation and Benefits
Estimated salary range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Fidelity Investments offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
