Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Alert Prioritization and Triage: Prioritize and triage security alerts in a timely manner, escalating to senior analysts or management as necessary.
  • Customer Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve customer issues in a prompt and professional manner, either through direct assistance or escalation to senior analysts.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Engage in daily verbal and written communication with customers, senior leadership, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and issue resolution.
  • Shift Work: Work any shift within our 24x7x365 SOC, including evenings, nights, and weekends, as required.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Cybersecurity Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as IT Help Desk or Systems Administration, with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface effectively with senior leadership, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Certifications: CompTIA Security+ certification is a plus, but not required. Candidates must be willing to obtain certification within the first 12 months of employment.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly Rate: $25-$28 per hour, based on experience.
  • Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision benefits are offered to eligible employees.
  • Employment Type: This is a contract-to-hire position, with no corporate-to-corporate (C2C) or visa sponsorships available at this time.
