DAME serves as a comprehensive Navy-wide system that integrates software and hardware solutions, focusing on Advanced Manufacturing technologies such as 3D printers, CNC machines, and other related systems. The primary goal of the DAME suite is to bolster the networking capabilities of Advanced Manufacturing systems across the Naval Enterprise.

The Cyber Security Analyst will play a crucial role in safeguarding the solutions that underpin the Digital Thread of Advanced Manufacturing within the Naval framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the formulation of comprehensive cybersecurity framework SOPs, policies, and training programs.
  • Gain an understanding of processes related to Authority to Operate (ATO).
  • Design and implement Government-approved security policies, plans, and procedures.
  • Establish data network security protocols and adhere to software development security best practices.
  • Acquire a solid understanding of U.S. Navy and DoD engineering and communications commands, particularly NAVWAR, NIWC Pacific and Atlantic, NAVSEA, and DISA.
  • Address STIG Configurations and Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE's).
  • Document the Security Posture and outline Security Best Practices.
  • Troubleshoot systems and software/hardware throughout the Security Development Lifecycles.
  • Collaborate with the Cyber team and Development Team on various technical and security initiatives.

Compensation: $80,000 to $110,000 Annually

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen as per Government Contract requirements.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance is mandatory.
  • One of the following certifications is required: (CAP, CND, Cloud+, GSLC, Security+ CE, HCISPP) for IAT Level I of the Cybersecurity Workforce.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • A strong passion for Cyber Security and technology, with a willingness to learn and assist others.
  • A desire to develop technical proficiency across various domains.

Desired Skills:

  • Support the management of system configurations to mitigate identified vulnerabilities and respond to cyber incidents.
  • Demonstrable aptitude or experience with: PostgreSQL or SQL databases, CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments (compute, serverless technologies, object storage), systems management, automation, IAM, Docker or similar container technologies, STIGs, and the Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.
