Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team at Trinitas Regional Medical Center. As a Travel Nurse RN, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a talented team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Certification Requirements
    • Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Family Medicine Intermediate Level (FHM) certifications are required prior to start.
  • Job Details
    • We are looking for candidates who can start as soon as possible, with the next available orientation scheduled for a future date.
    • A manager interview will be conducted as part of the hiring process.
    • The patient ratio for this position is 1:1 with 2nd stage labor and C/S circulating and post-anesthesia stage 1, 1:3-4 in triage (agency not usually assigned in triage but may be asked to assist with charge RN), Early labor 1:2-3, Active labor 1:2.
    • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience is required for this position.
    • First-time travelers and travel pairs are not accepted.
    • Every other weekend is required, and the candidate must be available to work Labor Day and one winter holiday.
    • May be required to float to the Mother/Baby unit.
    • No block scheduling is allowed.
    • Locals are accepted for this position.
  • Job Requirements
    • A New Jersey RN license is required upon start.
    • Special Requirements:
      • Antepartum care, including the use of External Fetal Monitoring (EFM), assisting with sterile speculum exams, Non-Stress Tests (NSTs), and Obstetric Ultrasound (OCTs).
      • Strong experience with IVs (no PICC lines).
      • Managing and administering antihypertensives, magnesium sulfate therapy, Pitocin, and pain medications.
      • Circulating for C-sections is required, and scrubbing for C-sections is highly preferred.
      • Neonatal care in the delivery room is also required.
  • Schedule Information
    • Every other weekend is required, and the candidate must be available to work Labor Day and one winter holiday.
    • No block scheduling is allowed.
  • Unit Specific Information
    • Scrub color will be provided.
    • Charting system: AllScripts Sunrise Clinical Manager (SCM); GE Centricity Fetal Surveillance and Documentation system.
