Job Title: Phlebotomy Technician
About Adventist Health BakersfieldWe provide exceptional patient care at our 254-bed acute care hospital and 20 primary and specialty care medical offices in the heart of California.
Key Responsibilities:- Collecting blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques is a critical aspect of this role.
- Patient care and specimen handling are key responsibilities for this position.
- The ideal candidate will receive, handle, and process specimens for Laboratory testing.
This role requires working in a fast-paced laboratory environment with exposure to various chemicals, equipment, and biohazardous materials. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential.
Requirements:- A high school education or equivalent is required in California; an associate's degree or technical certification is preferred.
- Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician I (CPTI) is required in California and preferred in Oregon and Hawaii.
We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience.
