Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a travel contract opportunity at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, TX. As an Inpatient SLP, you will play a critical role in managing treatment plans to promote positive outcomes for patients with diverse diagnoses.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' communication and swallowing disorders
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and interventions to promote patient progress and independence
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination
- Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Texas
- Minimum one year of experience in Inpatient SLP settings
- Ability to work 8-10 hour shifts, 4-5 days per week
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
