Job Title: Medical Assistant

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at the Strongsville Family Health & Surgery Center.

Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant will provide high-quality patient care and support to our healthcare team. This role involves assisting with medical procedures, taking vital signs, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with medical procedures and exams
  • Take vital signs and record patient information
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Provide exceptional patient care and support
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an approved medical assisting program or military training as a Hospital Corpsman (HM), Combat Medic (68W) or Medical Service Technician (4N0X1)
  • Completion of a clinical externship or extensive clinical experience
  • Medical Assisting certification and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Work Environment:

The Medical Assistant will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, interacting with patients, families, and healthcare team members. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Physical Requirements:

The Medical Assistant will be required to stand for extended periods, walk, and move around the healthcare facility. Manual dexterity is also required to operate office equipment.
