If you prefer hands-on work, we also conduct assessments on hardware (including ATMs, medical devices, satellites, and various operational technologies) and challenge our clients through social engineering, red teaming, and physical penetration testing.

Your Impact

With the support of your colleagues, you will engage in penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and other security-related activities.

Daily Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting application, network, systems, and infrastructure penetration tests for clients, performing key services offered by the practice with appropriate supervision.
  • Preparing comprehensive reports that detail security vulnerabilities, offering recommendations, and identifying solutions. You will also contribute to client presentations and discussions regarding testing outcomes, key findings, recommendations, and next steps.
  • Building and nurturing strong, long-lasting relationships with a diverse clientele, while identifying and exploring opportunities within existing and new accounts.
  • Ensuring that key performance indicators related to client expectations, delivery timelines, quality of work, and deliverables are met, including quality management processes.
  • Sharing knowledge and supporting team members in developing both technical and interpersonal skills.
  • Fostering a culture of empowerment, collaboration, and accountability through consistent employee engagement.
  • Assisting with research and development, innovation, and practice enhancement activities under supervision.
  • Actively collaborating across CyberCX, continuously seeking ways to add value, and facilitating communication and partnerships across the organization to enhance client engagement.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A tertiary qualification in information systems, software development, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Preferred penetration testing certifications such as OSCP, though not mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of experience as a security testing practitioner or cyber practitioner, demonstrating capabilities in managing client expectations, time management, technical delivery, and report writing.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A resilient and agile approach to setbacks.
