Trailer Technician

Quantix is seeking a skilled Trailer Technician to join our team. As a Trailer Technician, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day equipment maintenance on Class 8 liquid tank and bulk trailers and company equipment. This includes preventative maintenance, minor to major repairs to trailers.

• Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance and repair of company equipment and tools involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and plumbing systems.
• Troubleshoots, diagnoses and repairs mechanical, electrical and hydraulic malfunctions.
• Performs P.M. inspections to ensure DOT requirements are met.
• Assists with road service calls during emergency breakdowns.
• Complete required documentation associated with repairing vehicles and documenting parts usage.
• Assures compliance with all appropriate safety rules and regulations.

• Valid and unrestricted Driver's license
• Must have a Toolbox
• Automotive/Mechanical Trade or Vocational certification preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of Trailer Technician experience preferred.
• Ability to enter and exit the driver's compartment of the truck and/or behind cab using normally available footholds and handholds.
