Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Neonatology Physician to provide exceptional care in a challenging yet rewarding environment. This role involves:

  • NICU Coverage: Overseeing a 22-bed Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with an average daily census of 14 patients.
  • Delivery Statistics: Managing approximately 2,700 deliveries annually, along with 340 NICU admissions each year.
  • Work Schedule: In-house responsibilities structured as 2 weeks on duty followed by 1 week off, complemented by night coverage from Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs).
  • Advanced Services: Utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and techniques, including jet ventilators, high-frequency jet ventilation (HFJV), inhaled nitric oxide (INO), and whole body cooling therapies.
  • Educational Engagement: Opportunities to mentor and educate Family Practice and OB/GYN residents, as well as medical students, fostering the next generation of healthcare professionals.
  • Visa and Locum Restrictions: Please note that we are not accepting visa candidates or locum tenens applicants at this time.
