Job Title: Academic General Pediatrician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Academic General Pediatrician to join our team at the Children's Hospital at Montefiore (CHAM). As a member of our Division of Academic General Pediatrics, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our patients with complex medical needs.

About the Position

This is a full-time academic position that requires a strong commitment to clinical practice, medical education, and research. You will work closely with our experienced team to provide longitudinal primary care services and sub-specialty care coordination for patients with medical complexity. Your expertise will be essential in developing and implementing care plans that address the unique needs of our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and precepting of residents in the LINCS Complex Care Program
  • Participate in inpatient consultation and quality/performance improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to research initiatives focused on social determinants of health, mental health, and children and adolescents with special health care needs/medical complexity

CHAM is a 192-bed nationally renowned academic children's hospital providing inpatient, ambulatory, and emergency care for children and adolescents. We are part of the Montefiore Health System, serving the Bronx and Westchester counties in New York.

About the Division of Academic General Pediatrics

Our Division is a dynamic team of attending physicians, nurse practitioners, PhD social scientists, psychologists, social workers, and administrative staff. We are committed to providing patient-centered care and advancing the field of academic general pediatrics through research and education.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $175,000-$210,000 commensurate with academic rank, as well as opportunities for clinical productivity incentives and bonuses. Our benefits package includes 403b with employer match, 457, tuition reimbursement, long-term disability, short-term disability, life insurance, paid malpractice, health, dental, and vision benefits, and funds for CME activities.
