Responsibilities
Job Summary:
The Physical Therapist is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing individualized treatment programs based on physical therapy principles. This role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and supervision of support staff.
Essential Functions:
The Physical Therapist will evaluate patient capabilities and restrictions, develop treatment plans and objectives, and facilitate patient recovery through assessments of joint mobility, muscle strength, and coordination. Responsibilities also include providing therapy, supervising assigned personnel, educating patients and caregivers, documenting treatment progress, and recommending discharge when appropriate.
Qualifications
Required Education:
Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
Required Licensure and Certifications:
Current state Physical Therapy license and Basic Life Support Certification Level C.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Candidates must remain informed about safety practices in patient care, adhere to ethical standards, and demonstrate strong organizational and time management skills. Effective communication and attention to detail are essential, along with strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Pay Range
$58.81 /hour
