Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transportation Dispatcher to join our Lubricant Division team in Bensenville, IL. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the scheduling of lubricant deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery Scheduling: Coordinate and manage the scheduling of lubricant deliveries, ensuring timely and efficient service to our customers.
  • Communication Liaison: Act as the primary communication liaison between drivers, customers, and internal teams, ensuring seamless coordination and resolution of logistical challenges.
  • Route Optimization: Monitor driver routes and provide real-time solutions to logistical challenges, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Compliance and Record-Keeping: Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations, maintaining accurate records of all dispatch activities, including tracking delivery status and documentation.
  • Dispatch Software: Utilize dispatch software and tools to optimize delivery routes and schedules, ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience as a dispatcher in the transportation or logistics industry, preferably with a focus on lubricant distribution.
  • Geographic Knowledge: Strong geographic knowledge, especially in the Midwest and surrounding regions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse group of individuals.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in dispatch software and strong computer skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to multitask and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility with work hours, ready to step in during various shifts as needed.
