Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Corporate Underwriting Product Expert to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with our Property & Casualty Product Managers to develop, manage, and update underwriting, pricing and product strategies that drive profitable growth and meet client needs.
Main Responsibilities:- Assist management in assessing the portfolio to ensure profitability.
- Collaborate with the Actuarial team on profitability analysis, pricing of new coverages and products, and assist in developing a pricing strategy.
- Participate in product development, including associated pricing, underwriting tools, and reviewing policy forms with Claims and Legal.
- Develop Underwriting guidelines and rules for execution by Field Underwriting.
- Provide general expertise to TMA Field Underwriting on rate, rule, and form issues.
- College Degree or equivalent preferred.
- CPCU or equivalent Professional designation preferred.
- Minimum of 5+ Years in insurance.
- Minimum of 5 Years in Underwriting.
- Knowledge of ISO, AAIS, NCCI and independent state bureau requirements.
- Experience with Underwriting Audits preferred.
- Extensive Personal Computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written Communication skills.
- Positive team participation and attributes preferred.
