We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Student Pharmacist to join our team at Fairview Health Services. As a Student Pharmacist, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic hospital setting, providing clinical care to patients and assisting with the operation and management of the pharmacy.

• Provide clinical care to patients, including patient counseling and prospective drug use evaluation.
• Assist the pharmacy manager in the operation and management of the pharmacy.
• Provide indirect supervision for support staff and ensure adherence to all policies and procedures.
• Monitor patient records for potential drug interactions and patient allergies.
• Provide counseling and answer questions from patients, family, and healthcare professionals concerning drug therapy.
• Ensure accurate and timely dispensing of medications.
• Identify and resolve patient-specific medication-related problems and issues.
• Participate in team meetings and discussions with clinical pharmacy specialists, pharmacy residents, and technicians.

• Enrolled at an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy.
• Current Minnesota Pharmacy Intern License (preferred).
• Excellent customer service skills, proficient in English language, and capable of solving problems optimally.
• Ability to follow policies and procedures, and proficient mathematical skills.
