Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Minot Public Schools. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in helping students develop the communication skills they need to succeed in school and beyond.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to meet the unique needs of students with communication disorders
  • Assess and evaluate students' communication skills, identifying areas of strength and weakness
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement strategies to support students' communication development
  • Provide direct and indirect services to students, including individual and group therapy sessions
  • Communicate with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress and involve them in the treatment process
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology, incorporating new knowledge and techniques into your practice
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
  • Valid North Dakota teaching license and/or certification in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working with students with communication disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals
Working Conditions

This is a part-time position, with a salary and work year according to the master agreement between Minot Public Schools and the Minot Education Association. Performance will be evaluated according to school board policy.
