About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Reliability/Maintenance Manager to join our team at Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety and Compliance: Champion and maintain a safe environment through your actions, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Maintenance Planning: Review and assign work orders to maintenance staff, verifying task completion and assessing the quality of work performed.
  • Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule work to be performed based on routine preventive maintenance schedules, working closely with the Plant Manager to optimize productivity.
  • Training and Development: Coach and train maintenance employees on proper maintenance techniques, procedures, and skills.
  • Equipment Inspection and Maintenance: Inspect production equipment, machines, and tools, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Submit records of all preventive and corrective maintenance performed into the company computer system software (eMaintenance).
  • Inventory Management: Order parts necessary to complete repairs, ensuring that critical spare parts are in stock and monthly spending is under control and within budget.
  • Safety Program Development: Responsible for creating and training on safety written programs, including Lock Out / Tag Out, electrical safety, crane and hoist, fall protection, and Haz Mat.
  • Recommendations and Decision Making: Provide the Operations Manager with recommendations for larger purchases or major repairs, making informed decisions to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our production equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field from a four-year college or university, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance management or plant engineering in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong communication and teamwork skills, ability to diagnose problems and implement solutions, experience with industrial equipment and electrical systems, and proficiency in computer-aided design and manufacturing software.
  • Physical Demands: Frequently required to stand, sit, bend, and kneel.
