Preschool Instructor

The Salvation Army is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Preschool Teacher. As a key member of our preschool staff, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and nurturing environment that fosters the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth of our young students.

• Lesson Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of our students, ensuring a well-rounded and inclusive learning experience.
• Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a safe, organized, and respectful classroom environment that promotes positive relationships among students, teachers, and staff.
• Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and a shared commitment to our students' success.
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.

• Education and Certification: Hold a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, with a focus on early childhood education or a related field.
• Experience and Skills: Possess a minimum of 1 year of experience working with young children, with a strong emphasis on creating a safe and engaging learning environment.
• Certifications and Clearances: Hold current certifications in CPR, First Aid, and TB clearance, as well as a valid driver's license (if required).
