Position Overview:
Pivot Onsite Innovations is currently seeking a PRN Radiologic Technician to join our team.

Coverage Need:
Monday-Friday, 7AM-3PM

Job Summary:
The Radiologic Technician will play a vital role in supporting daily operations at our medical facility, ensuring high-quality service and patient satisfaction. This position involves assisting healthcare providers in patient evaluation and treatment, as well as performing radiographic imaging as instructed by the clinician. The technician will report directly to the Clinical Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


- Serve as a receptionist, managing phone inquiries and addressing patient concerns with professionalism and a focus on customer service.

- Schedule patient appointments as necessary and coordinate services with other medical professionals, laboratories, and radiology departments.
- Facilitate patient check-out processes within the electronic health record system.
- Act as a courteous liaison between the medical office, physicians, clients, and healthcare facilities, making necessary phone calls.
- Prepare visit documentation and patient records daily for office consultations.
- Travel between various sites as required.
- Efficiently register patients in the system, collecting relevant information for treatment and billing purposes.
- Complete insurance documentation accurately.
- Escort patients to examination rooms and assist healthcare providers during assessments when needed.
- Conduct pulmonary function tests (PFT), electrocardiograms (EKG), and breath alcohol tests as required.
- Collect blood samples and urine specimens for laboratory testing at the clinic and client locations.
- Measure and record vital signs, discussing any abnormal findings with the healthcare provider.
- Responsible for obtaining and communicating lab results, including reporting abnormal findings to the healthcare provider and negative drug test results to clients.
- Send reports and documentation to clients and provide verbal updates as necessary.
- Assist with medication refills and communicate with pharmacies as needed.
- Administer injections at the clinic and client sites.
- Support the Occupational Health Services Coordinator in managing supplies and pharmaceutical inventories.
- Perform radiographic imaging as directed by the clinician.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.

Required Education, Skills, and Abilities:
- High School Diploma and completion of Radiologic Technologist training.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a medical assistant or a certified graduate of a medical assistant program, including internship or externship experience.
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
