About the Role

Atrium Health Charlotte is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist Level I to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, maintaining a safe and sterile environment, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing patients for surgery, including positioning and draping
  • Maintain aseptic technique and sterile field during procedures
  • Organize and manage surgical supplies and equipment
  • Assist with room turnover and preparation for subsequent procedures
  • Monitor and document sterilization activities
  • Participate in educational opportunities to increase competency and meet personal needs and goals
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Current Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider required
  • Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology or successful completion of military training program for Surgical Technology or Operating Room Specialist
  • Current certification preferred
