Job Description

**Job Summary:**

Cross Country Allied is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for a travel assignment in a skilled nursing facility. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in helping patients who are ill, injured, or disabled regain independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized speech therapy treatment plans to address patients' communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' communication and swallowing abilities, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that address patients' physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare staff on communication and swallowing disorders, and strategies for improving communication and swallowing abilities.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes, and make recommendations for continued care and treatment.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Current state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • At least 1 year of recent experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a skilled nursing facility.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
