Mission Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Nursery Acute Unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe and effective patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of professional nursing.
  • Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice and respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
  • Ensure a safe environment for patients and visitors and utilize the chain of command when necessary to ensure patient well-being and appropriateness of care.

Qualifications

  • Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State.
  • BCLS upon hire and maintain current.
  • NRP within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
