We are seeking a highly skilled Cabin Systems and Displays Systems Engineer to join our team at The Boeing Company. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating cabin systems and displays for our aircraft.
Key Responsibilities- Perform system engineering responsibilities for cabin systems and displays, including requirements definition, design, testing, certification, and production.
- Interface with project and program teams to plan and execute the product development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with airplane customers to define and coordinate avionics performance requirements and ensure compatibility of all physical, functional, and program interfaces.
- Perform verification and validation activities, including requirements validation, and the development of verification test methods, detailed test procedures, and test reports.
- Guide the system certification process and interact with regulatory representatives.
- Lead cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- 5+ years of systems engineering experience.
- 5+ years of engineering program management or technical risk management experience.
- Experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
- 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience working in systems engineering, including LRU to component level requirements development and decomposition.
- 8+ years of experience working in design, development, integration, verification, certification of hardware LRUs.
- 5+ years of experience in product quality management.
- Experience leading/mentoring systems engineers and partnering with cross-functional teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with internal and external customers and suppliers distributed across domestic and international locations.
