Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado. As a Cardiovascular Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and address patients' psychological and physical needs
  • Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind
  • Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Comply with evaluation, treatment, and documentation guidelines
  • Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs
  • Participate in clinical team conferences
  • Follow hospital, regulatory, and professional guidelines, policies, and procedures
Requirements
  • ASN from an accredited program; BSN within 4 years
  • Current Colorado RN license
  • Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association
  • One year of nursing experience in a comparable setting, preferred
Physical Requirements

This role requires ongoing visual and auditory attention, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift and move patients and equipment. You will also need to navigate crowded and busy rooms, often requiring you to stand for extended periods.
