Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our Outpatient Rehabilitation team. As a Physical Therapist at Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation - Outpatient, you will work closely with a team of clinicians to help patients achieve their individualized goals and milestones.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments to identify treatment needs and goals.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans to promote optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
- Provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients, including manual therapy, exercise instruction, and education on proper body mechanics and injury prevention.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and coordinate services as needed.
- Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately and in a timely manner.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
- Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment or as required by state regulations.
