Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team at Total Aerospace Services. This role is essential in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our operations.

Key Responsibilities

The Quality Assurance Inspector will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections in accordance with the latest technical data and manufacturer’s guidelines. This includes:

  • Performing preliminary hidden damage assessments, in-process evaluations, and final inspections on civil aviation components.
  • Ensuring compliance with aviation airworthiness directives and industry standards.
  • Maintaining familiarity with inspection methods, tools, and equipment specific to the assigned area.
  • Calibrating and ensuring the proper functioning of inspection tools.
  • Documenting all inspections accurately and ensuring all records are completed before articles are returned to service.
  • Replacing failed components and conducting functional tests on repaired parts.
  • Assisting repair technicians and engineers as necessary.
  • Adhering to inventory control procedures.
  • Interpreting OEM manuals and router instructions.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Powerplant License.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with hand and pneumatic tools.
  • Basic troubleshooting knowledge.
  • Ability to perform within established quality standards.
  • Experience with borescope inspections.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding technical manuals.

Preferred:

  • Experience with CFM56 engines.
  • Familiarity with Quantum aviation software.
  • Spanish language proficiency.
