PRIMARY ROLE
Analyze revenue streams, market positioning, production capacity, and competitor strategies to establish optimal pricing frameworks that align with our product offerings and sales objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential responsibilities of the Revenue Optimization Specialist include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting comprehensive market analysis to gather insights on pricing trends and strategies.
- Maintaining an organized database of current and historical pricing information to assess pricing effectiveness and inform decision-making.
- Establishing and overseeing pricing structures based on various factors, including customer segments, product categories, and volume discounts.
- Coordinating the development of tools, reports, and communications to ensure accurate pricing information in response to market dynamics.
- Collaborating with the Sales Director to identify potential new markets for our product range.
- Participating in industry association meetings as directed.
- Attending all relevant sales and company-wide meetings.
- Staying informed about competitors' pricing strategies, services, and market approaches.
- Assisting in the creation and execution of effective sales and marketing initiatives in collaboration with the Sales Director.
- Keeping abreast of industry developments to leverage new opportunities.
- Ensuring all company dealings are conducted ethically and responsibly.
- Maintaining a professional appearance suitable for the role and its responsibilities.
- Performing additional tasks as assigned by the Sales Director.
- Upholding the principles of integrity and exceeding expectations through proactive actions.
- Fostering a positive work environment and collaborating effectively with colleagues across departments.
- Designing and analyzing pricing and profitability models, reports, and key performance indicators to enhance pricing strategies that drive financial success.
- Working closely with the leadership team to promote pricing improvements.
- Developing and implementing systems and processes to support pricing analytics and performance evaluation.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required, preferably within the Manufacturing or Industrial sectors.
A college degree in business, sales, or marketing is preferred, along with at least five years of experience in a Manufacturing or Industrial context.
