Description:

WORKOVER RIG (DIESEL/PUMP) MECHANIC

Brigade Energy Services is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team of professionals working in the oil and gas industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring all daily operational and mechanical activities are performed safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all work follows company policies and procedures, as well as safety regulations.
  • Maintain assigned trucks in accordance with operating specifications.
  • Configure test stations and systems.
  • Facilitate third-party repair of equipment, as needed.
  • Analyze and interpret data from environmental tests, troubleshoot equipment problems.
  • Find solutions to difficult technical problems.
  • Keep excellent maintenance records, schedule maintenance of equipment.
  • Provide supervision, mentorship, and leadership of technicians in the absence of the supervisor/manager.
  • Execute stop work authority if conditions are unsafe, report concerns immediately.
  • Maintain equipment records and filing systems as part of quality control and assurance programs.
  • Inspect and disposition parts and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with HS&E policies and procedures.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 1+ years in oilfield.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations preferred.
  • Mechanically inclined.

  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships as part of a team.
  • Willing and able to continuously increase knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Able to work flexible schedules and overtime as required.
  • Work outdoors in extreme temperatures and conditions.
  • Must provide proof of right to work in the United States, have a clean driving record, valid driver's license, and ability to pass a drug screen and background check and participate in regular random screening.
